VF700 - 5600XT Ultra RAM Heatsinks?

Post by munchgrunch » Wed Nov 23, 2005 6:03 pm

Hey Guys!

I just purchased a VF700-AlCu but I am having trouble installing it. I can't seem to remove the old fan because of these small black pins.

IGNORE THE DUST!!! AHHHH

The other side

So does anyone know how I could remove it? Thanks a lot

NEW QUESTION!

After installing the VF700 I noticed that it came with some RAM heatsinks. The only problem is I don't know where on my 5600XT Ultra to put them on! Could anyone help me locate all of the RAM? thanks

you either
A - carefully pinch a black pin prongs? on the non core side using needle nose pliers and it comes out the other end
B- or there might be a smaller pin inside black pin and you may need to pull that out first
C- uhhhh....
