Im planning on running it at 5V. I have a VF700CU on order for £11.50. But, should I sell that for around £14? and then get a VF900 for £23??
I might do some overclocking. Dont know yet.
Input appriciated.
7900GT- VF700CU or buy a VF900?

I personally would be very careful with the VF700CU at 5V on that card, especially if you are going to be OCing.
I attempted to use it on my ATIX850GTO^2 with the BIOS mod to flash it to 16 pipes, and tried to overclock to get a general X850 XT PE speeds, and the cooler could barely handle it at full tilt. I KNOW I was using it correctly and that the Arctic Silver 5 was applied correctly, but for some reason it just didn't cool well. I had the original version, however, and not the faster RPM one.
Also, I notice that the HSF is allowed to ever-so-slightly twist back and forth, as the screw hole plate is not fixed. That could have been the problem too.
Not sure about the VF900 though, as I've never looked at or even looked at reviews of this cooler.
