Fatal1ty FC-ZV9 & VF900-Cu differences ?
anyone know teh differences between these 2 or which is better for semi-passive cooling ? Looked on Zalmans site and i cant really see what the significant differences are (apart from the led fan)
Other than the LEDs:
1) The ZV9 fan spins much faster and is of no interest to most SPCR users. I use the older FS-V7 (based on VF700) and I run mine at 5V, still kinda audible.
2) I believe the ZV9 is nickel plated while the standard VF900 isn't. This is probably purely aesthetical, but the nickel surface probably won't be stained as easily as copper (eg. your oily fingerprints).
