8800GTS temps

does any one know the temps on the 8800GTSs... it doesnt matter if it was a review or if u own one just need a refernce

It's in Russian, but screenshots are easy enough to understand. This is for 320MB version though which may be clocked higher than 640MB.

My stock overclocked XFX 8800GTS 320MB idles at 61C and rises to 68C while playing WoW. I don't think it topped 70C when running 3DMark2006.

this is my first good video card and i was wondering what are max safe temps for a 8800GTS

Some other Nvidia cards are known to withstand up to 120C before artifacts appeared.

Maybe, but I wouldn't push it. My 6800gt>ultra craps out waaaay before its rated limit.
