HD3400 and HD3600 cards

The new budget and midline cards with all the newest technologies are coming out Late Jan/ Early Feb. I'm pretty excited. Based on the premium performance/ power management/ value of the 3800 series, these should be outstanding cards for HTPC (midrange cards) and general use (low range cards). It also looks like the 2400 and 2600 cards will start to get some price reductions to move that inventory out.

If you look at the 3400, it's got an HDMI out on it, which may mean they are targeting at the budget image-quality HTPC market.

As far as power consumption goes, the 3800 series really raised the bar for power management (especially at idle!). The 2400 and 2600 are very efficient now, I can't imagine how much better these are going to be (but not necessarily a lot faster)

the new pcb for the 36xx looks much more complicated then the current 26xx.

i just ordered a 2600pro- this sucks

That cooler on HD 3670 is damn sexy... If its anything like HD 3870 cooler, then silencers are for treat.
