As of the moment, I use the Antec SpotCool
http://www.antec.com/usa/productDetails ... s&id=75018
It's flexible and adjustable, so you can use it to cool nearly anything you want in your case.
I use it to force the air through the heatsink that I have on my graphics card. It doesn't break any airflow nor does it affect the cpu cooling much IMO.
Also, The power comes from a 3 pin design, so you can throttle the fan speed.
Just wanted to share.
How I cooled my passive card

That is nasty!
What are your gfx and cpu coolers btw? Also what gfx card and what cpu doe you have?
Do both cpu and gfx card have decent temperatures with this "passive" cooling?
By the way, when actively letting a fan blow on a heatsink for that very purpose is called active cooling. :p
No really, nice work. What's the loudness of that antec blower?

Thanks.
My cpu's a 2.33 Ghz Core 2 duo with speedstep disabled.
The cooler is a Thermalright Ultra 120 extreme.
The graphics card is a Galaxy Geforce 9600 GT silent graphics card. I really like it's inverted heatsink because it takes advantage of the case airflow.
This if from speedstep
GPU: 45C
Temp1: 34C
Temp2: 26
Temp3: -2c
HD0: 28C
HD1: 31C
Core0: 34C
Core1: 34C
Core: 45C
It's currently being used for web browsing, so it's very close to idling.
please note that it's still winter, so the temps will get a bit higher later on.
The Antec Spotcool fan is connected to a front panel fan controller, and I'm running it at the lowest fanspeed with it.
I prefer this method of cooling my components because it's a bit less of a mod, and carries less risks. My old silent graphics card became slightly unstable (random crashes) after my attempt of attaching a fan to the heatsink. I think it was because one of the zip ties was touching the board.
I think this SpotCool fan can be of use for anybody who's using anything passively, especially graphics card.
