It's 2009 and still no low profile parts from AMD?

I'm surprised at the lack of current parts from AMD available in low profile form factor, especially the lack of HD 4650 and HD 4670 parts. A few folks are on the ball with NVIDIA chips as high as the 9800 GT in low profile, but the newest AMD stuff I'm finding on newegg are all 3000 series.

You'd think there'd be a demand for a strong card for HDTV that could also do games nicely on a TV screen.

If anyone finds a 4650 or 4670 low profile card available in the USA, please post a link!

Actually there is a 4650 listed on your Newegg link.

I wonder how Sparkle fit everything on their 9800GT--specifically the 256-bit memory bus and chips There hardly anything on the other side of the card either.

I can't see it, do you have a direct link?

Either they removed it or I mistook a 3650 for a 4650.

I'm looking at these myself, as I'm considering Antec Minuet for my HTPC build.

BTW, more options in this thread at Slickdeals forum:

This HD4650 with GDDR3 should be a little faster than the ddr2 version:
