New Xigmatek VGA cooler, 5 HDT,the gap between heatpipes has been reduced and seems that the surface area is larger than Battleaxe, but still less than S1(?).

I suppose it would not be a hassle to attach a good 120mm fan with zip tie upon it.
two 100mm ball bearing fans that work at 2000 RPM and have a sound output of under 20 dBA.
:o at least not 2000rpm 16dBa like what Thermalcake usually claims

Hi,

An interesting heatsink -- but, what is up with those fan frames?

I wonder what the fin height/thickness on this is. Might make for a passable passive cooler on some of the low power cards.

looks really cool. hm.

i duno what is going to fit on the 5750 I'm buying this week though.

I am going to check this out though. maybe it it worth to go 5770 then.

... just checked those out. Heat pipe direct touch technology... looks actually really neat. Makes sense, so long as a perfect contact can be made though. That is the most key for a heatsink, perfect seal and goop applied.
