Best silent video card, november 09

I am about to order parts for my new computer, and as I am trying to get it as silent as possible, I would like to know which card is the best silent option right now.
I would really like a ATI 5850 with for instance an Accelero S1 Rev 2 with a Nexus Real Silent 120mm fan at 5v, but I am not sure if it'll get too hot.

Another option would be to buy the passive cooled Gigabyte ATI 4850, but I would prefer a low-power card.
I am not much of a gamer, but I play occasionally, and as I am going to use this computer for 3-4 years, I would rather spend the extra bucks now, and get something that lasts maybe a half or a full year more.

What is your opinions regarding the best silent video card on the market right now?

Well, if you mean REALLY "silent", then the fastest fanless option that I know of, out of the box, is that Gigabyte HD4850 that you mentioned.

Depending on your case layout, the HD 5850 with an S1 and a slow fan would probably be fine. A Thermalright HR-03 cooler (I believe either Rev. A, GT, or GTX are OK) might be an even better option than S1, if you've got the space... less heatsink bending would theoretically be involved. :)

Alright, now PowerColor is out with a passive cooled HD 5750 card.

However, I really don't want a PowerColor card, as I have pretty poor experiences with them in the past.
But seeing that they have cooled it passively, I was thinking about purchasing a XFX or Asus HD 5750, and put a passive cooler on it, maybe with a 120mm Nexus Real Silent fan.

Would that be doable?

I am considering these cards:

XFX and ASUS.

Just to add, I don't have huge feelings about any particular passive VGA-cooler, as long as I can get a non-PowerColor 5750 passive cooled (or semi-passive with a 120mm fan).

The Accelero S1 Rev 2 will fit a 5850?

Will it also fit a 5750?
