Silent (or quiet) upgrade for my Radeon 6850

I have a silent PowerColor SCS3 Radeon HD 6850 with a quiet fan blowing on it. I want to upgrade my video card but I don't want it to be loud. What are my options? I don't mind if the card is a little noisy while playing games.

Need to box in the parameters so you don't under or over buy: What's the CPU, what's your monitor resolution, what games do you play and do want to max out all the image quality features or not?

Eg: at 1080p, the sweet spot is the GTX 960. Lots of cards have implemented passive at non-gaming load fan profiles, so many to choose from that are great from an SPCR standpoint.

I have a Core i7 2600k processor and a 1080p monitor (1920x1080). I play all kinds of games in high settings.

Yep, go with a GTX 960. Check out the review compilation thread. SPCR reviewed the Asus Strix and found it to be damn quiet. That said, the MSI Gaming, Gigabyte G1 Gaming and a few others are also damn quiet.

Thanks for the recommendation. The 960 was the perfect upgrade at the perfect price. I'm very satisfied with the purchase. I can barely hear the card even under load.
