Asus Swift PG279Q

Solid review from Hexus on the new Asus monitor(s). Sounds like a step towards achieving the holy grail of monitors for me; that is of course with the exception of one minor detail:
The Bad
The price
Both this and the 4K version are available in the UK for pre-order on Scan... for £719 / £749 respectively. Ouch. The G-Sync tax is strong with this one! Maybe we could buy one between three of us and take turns to use it? :)

In the long run, I don't think G-Sync will be a standard.

While i dont also think G-Sync will be the standard, i do think its pretty good, i would pay for it if there were 40'' 4k with it.

There is also a new LG 27MU67-B well worth a look. Cheaper, 4K, IPS, HDMI 2.0.
