Post by CA_Steve » Thu Jul 11, 2019 6:46 am

In brief: high 1440p/mid 2160p, Performance approaches RTX 2080 and is faster than 1080 Ti. Supports SLI. 215W TDP, but OEM stock OC'ed cards will use more at high loads. HDMI 2.0b and Display Port 1.4a. Supports dual link DVI-D but not analog. Requires one 6-pin and one 8-pin PCIe Graphics power connector, but OEM designs may use more. Dimensions stated as: a" x b" x c" are from mfgr websites - others are from reviews.

First looks are that companies are using their 2080 coolers, which makes sense since it’s the same die and likely the same pcb.

msi trio review from guru3d, showing an excellent 33%/1100rpm fans at 45C over ambient. I have the 2080 model, and the cooler is top notch. It’d be my top contender, provided you can house the ridiculous 327mm length.
