Boy, the fan is this card is NOISY!
However - AnandTech says ..."to a 0.13-micron manufacturing process it requires very little cooling. ... "
I am looking at the Zalman products - any guidance from anyone on selection .....for passive cooling of course ...
.
Thanks,
tk

Get the same one they use on the 9600 Pro Ultimate, if it's available retail. Maybe it's the "HP-50"?
Otherwise, sell your current card and get the Pro Ultimate. Everyone knows black Vidcards run faster anyway, right?

The retail option is really going to be the key. I might try emailing ATI support. Will let you know outcome.

ATI tech support by email proving to be impenetrable. I gave up and went for the Zalman 80C for max heat dissipation and future possibilities.
Thanks,
