After market heat sink for Cucore 5770/SG06

Post by Elijah86 » Sat Nov 27, 2010 1:47 pm

I am looking for a heat sink for my Asus cucore 5770 that I have in my SG06. The mobo is a ga-h55n-usb3. I have been doing tons of googling and can't seem to find something that will fit and keep it quite. It looks like the prolimatech mk 13 might fit but I wouldn't be able to fit a fan on it. If any one has an idea that would be great.

Thanks

I succesfully installed an Accelero S1 R2 on my HIS HD 5770 (H577FL1GD) not sure if it will fit on the Cucore though.

I found a lot of usefull information in these two threads;

Yes the S1 R2 does fit on the cucore but its much to tall to fit in the SG06. I was doing mesurments last night and it looks like the zalman VF1000 LED would fit. I read on a few forums that it does fit on the 5770.
