AMD or Intel barebones?

Post by frosty » Fri Jul 22, 2005 2:11 pm

I have the psu ram and hd and looking at going for a barebones Intels, the two I've owned always seemed to give me the middle finger

And pricewatch is more bang for the buck going AMD any thoughts?

For an SFF, I'd definitely choose either AMD 939 (with a Winchester or Venice CPU) or Pentium-M 479, because of their low heat output. Stay away from Pentium 4 Prescott at all costs.
