Reserator 1 Rox
I hooked up the whole thing, set up my board in a new case, have an antec phantom 350, 1 120 mm pabst fan on like 8volts...
3700BQE from Antec.
Holy cow, this thing is SILENT. I hear breathing louder than it. Finally, no more battles, at least till i replace the pump when itt gets noisier (not a biggie in my book)
Thanks all for input over the last few months, You made me spend hundreds of dollars!!

I guess we know what you'll be silencing next~El~Jefe~ wrote:I hear breathing louder than it.
You don't breathe through a scuba mouthpiece like a certain Sith Lord we know, do you?

Yeah.....it was so much easier before I learned I had to spend so much money on fans, etc. but I suppose you could just search the gallery for some of the "ghetto" rigs, those have been done pretty cheaply~El~Jefe~ wrote: Thanks all for input over the last few months, You made me spend hundreds of dollars!!
I had a commodore 128 too OMG! heheh. mine was a 128D i was programming on it when i was about 10~El~Jefe~ wrote:Yeah I know. I never spent a lot till this year on computing since 1985-6 when i bought my commodore 128.
that was a machine. I had 80 column mode where i could dial into IBM server things and do all sorts of cool stuff.
i'm glad your setup works well for you, guess it goes to show how much the industry has learnt to appreciate the benefits of silence!

whoa, thats awesome. at command promp huh?
I think that the c128 you had to hold the commodore key down while powering up to get to 64 mode, I dont remember any way of doing it once booting into c128 mode.
There should have been more c128 games available. it had SOOoooo much more capabilities to utilize.
