Help me build a new silent system :)

Hello

I am looking to build myself a new silent system. I currently have:

cpu - xp1900
ram - 512
hdd - barracuda 250gb
gc - ti4200

This system is very quiet when idle or when surfing the net or word processing. But when I do video or audio encoding things get a little messy. For example, the the psu starts spinning faster and makes more noise under load, and if I don't turn the fans on the full power under 100% load the system crashes!

So what I am after now is a system which will run silent under 100% load and not just silent when idle!

any suggestions?

Get a new PSU, perhaps a Seasonic S12-330 would be what you are looking for.

I have a seasonic already, but can't remember which!

That is not the only problem, is that I have to powerup the fans to full under full load, and when i do that i can hear the system! I want it to be silent under full load.
