2GB DDR2 TEAM XTREAM 800 4-4-4-10
XFX 7900GTX XXX

Fan's :

TOP 120x38 ANTEC TRICOOL L MODE
REAR NOCTUA 1200 7v
FRONT TOP 120x38 ANTEC TRICOOL L MODE
FRONT MIDDEL NOCTUA 1200 7v
in the BOTTOM MIDDEL 120x38 ANTEC TRICOOL L MODE

i have 2 more NOCTUA 1200 but i didn't instaled

whel i like to go for KENSFIELD , and DX10 CARD this chirsmas or 1Q of 2007

i and like to upgrade this worksation

i think that the first is buy a S12-650 80+ to get some extra power

but my temps now are realy hot cpu with INTEL TAT ( the best cpu temp and test for conroe ) is near to 69º in FULL

and CHIPSET are at 39-41º

change the case?

i like some new case of LIAN LI like PC-A10B
http://www.lian-li.com/Product/Chassis/ ... PC-A10.htm
but i don't know that is silent

if you have any NEW case that i don't know , plase tell it.

change AIRFOW or change any FANS?

i have in past NEXUS b/W fans and NOCTUA have more cm2 at same noise and rpm ( subgest think )

i like 120x38 because i makes more preassure.

if you have any sugguestion plase post it.

thanks to all

Replace the NB cooler by a Thermalright 05.

Nice rig btw.

For the rest (CPU, videocard) I would wait. Your system is just too good to upgrade now. With the same money that buys you a DX10 and a Kensington next month, you can buy much more in 6 months.

Btw, why do you have a LAN PCI-card, instead of using the onboard LAN?

I wouldn't change the case that's a very nice case. The main thing I don't like about it is it's on the bigger side and has alot of fans. I suggest you find out what's making the most noise? and just because there is a bunch of spots for fans doesn't mean you have to use them all. I also think your S12 500W is sufficient and you don't need to get a new PSU.

That's a shitload of fans you have there.. You could probably get away with just one rear exhaust and a slow fan on the CPU heatsink, and skip the (very noisy) 38mm antec and the kama-bay. You should also not need a fan in the lowert compartment, the S12 should provide enough airflow. Certainly you donät need something as fast s a tricool in there.

You only need about 2 fans. One for the rear exhaust, and one on the CPU. You might want a front intake fan too, but that's it. I would use the Nexus fan on the CPU since its quieter, put a Tri-Cool for the exhaust and maybe a Nexus or Tri-Cool for the top front intake. The Seasonic provides enough airflow for the bottom.

What is the temperture? If it's under 50C, that's nothing to worry about.

If you want to lower the temperatures of the HDDs when there isn't a fan back there, you can seal up the vent holes around the PSU.
