Where to get U-channel tubing?

Post by Nick Geraedts » Wed Feb 25, 2009 4:51 pm

I'm planning on doing some mods to my case/cases in the near future, but I was wondering if people had any suggestions on where to get the U-channel tubing to cover up the edges of cut holes.

Digikey? McMaster Carr? Local hardware store?

I do my own. I get free broken bike inner tubes from local bike repair shop and when I cut that inner tire, separating edges from middle with scirssors or so, I get two pieces of u-tube rubber and depending how much I cut I also get 2 straight rubbers, which can be used to dampening fans or building HDD suspensions.

your nearest electrical supplies shop. they call it edging. if they still dont understand it you can just tell them what you need it for...

Thanks for the replies. I'll see if any of the places/methods here work. :)
