Looking for opinions on my first mini-itx build. I'm hoping it'll be super quiet. Looking for opinions on use of just one fan (cpu). Will I be overheating? Main functions:
* HD movie playback (.mkv).
* Some HD disc playback (HD-DVD/BR).
* 10-foot surfing
* Light video encoding
* Dual boot xbmc/windows 7.

I'm concerned about the a vertical fanless PSU, but the Shuriken is definitely the cooler you want in a small case.

Another option would be a picoPSU and a large tower heatsink, which will fit in the space that the ATX PSU would have occupied. See the system in my signature for an example.
Since you haven't got a discrete graphics card, a 150W picoPSU would be more than enough headroom.

I saw that mentioned somewhere and would have done that, but I already had this CPU fan and thought I'd save the money. I don't mind the overpowered PSU if I won't be overheating.
