Need Help for Gaming Laptop

I have a Samsung Laptop Which I bought back in 2013. I have played some of the best games on it. I am an MGS fan and I play MGSV whenever I want. It runs on 60 or 75 FPS. But this time when I installed I am facing a lot of stuttering and lagging. But then suddenly the stuttering disappears and the game runs smoothly. Then this repeats randomly.
Please let me know how can I fix this. Guess its time to replace the oldman?

Hi buddy, due to age it has started lagging, the best possible solution would be to clean up once and install freshly. Also, add an SSD if possible.
