Toughbook CF-T8 fan noise?

Post by piccobello » Sat May 02, 2015 10:14 am

Hi all,

I have been happily using a Toughbook CF-T5 for a few years, now it starts being a bit
too slow, so I was thinking of getting a T8 but I noticed it has a fan (the T5 did not).

Is there anyone who has a CF-T8 who can comment about its fan, is it noisy? does it does it switch on often?

Any hint would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

The CF-T8 is a 2008's the current list of Toughbook products. A couple are fanless, including the only Haswell based one (the rest are older Ivy Bridge units).
