Planning to buy a Gigabyte K8NE...

Gigabyte K8NE (754, pci-express). I plan to buy this motherboard, but i've red some time ago that many gigabyte motherboards have coil noise. Is this true, has anyone have this motherboard to post some impresions on it?

I've never heard of that issue myself with gigabyte boards in general - it's always possible it's a rare issue on damaged boards during shipping? Might only be a factor anyway if you're after a completely silent solution, rather than just very quiet.

Can the backplate be removed? From the picture it seems that is held by some white plastic

. I want to install a Ninja on it, but now i don't know what to think anymore...
