Intel ships 31W Core Duo-based Xeon LV (Sossaman)

Intel begins shipping Sossaman today and the pricing doesn't look too bad. Not really for us consumers but wonderd what people's thoughts are on Intel's new chip or is this old news?

So, there's no way to use this chip in normal PC desktop environment? It's a socket 478 chip.
