Biostar Tforce p965 Deluxe allows 1.0V undervolt
Found this artilce that shows the biostar tforce p965 board can undervolt to 1.0V. Besides the oddly placed ATX conector, it has all the basics a quiet enthusiast could want on a motherboard for C2D. I'm really starting to like the Tforce line of boards. I now have 2 of them for S754 and they work out great!
I have this motherboard, and am running my E6600 at 1.02 volts and 7x multiplier (1.86GHz) passively cooled in an mCubed case.
At prolonged 100% CPU load CoreTemp shows the core temperature at 50 degrees C (SpeedFan shows CPU temp at 43 degrees C).
The BIOS of the board does not allow any underclocking, which was a disappointment, so I ended up actually overvolting the processor in BIOS, and then underclocking and undervolting in Windows using CrystalCPUID.
Pretty happy with the result. I had a lot of problems originally, but those turned out to be caused by faulty RAM.
