Is there any sticker on the mobo or box itself indicating which firmware is flashed on the mobo when it is brand new?

Or do I turn it on to find out?

I got ram that needs the F4 bios (since the ram runs only at 2.1volts) and have no other sticks of ram that runs at 1.8volts.

Just buy a 256mb stick of ddr2 533 or something, thats what i did with mine.
Mine came with the f3 bios.

You should be able to boot with a looser timing with those ram. Then update the bois.
