x2 4600+ 65w and abit nf-m2 - temps..

Post by lavik » Wed Nov 29, 2006 1:20 pm

Hi,

Ive just built a system with this cpu and motherboard in an Antec Solo case. The cpu is cooled by a Scythe Ninja and I use the default 120mm exhaust-fan. The PSU is a BeQuiet Straightpower 600W.

After running the "Blend - stress CPU and RAM" in Orthos Beta for 15min speedfan reads the following temps:

System: 31C
CPU: 41C
AUX: 57C
Core: 37C

Are these temps ok? What is the AUX-temp? It seems like it's the PWM that shows in the BIOS, but that doesn't tell me much..

Cheers

The only thing I can think of that it would be is the voltage regulators on your motherboard. If you have a spare fan laying around, you might want to try directing it at the heatsink cooling them to see if that temperature goes down.

Your temps are fine (in fact they're excellent).

Thanks for the feedback good to know. :)

Ciz28, hav you checked to see what your PWM-temps are under load?
