isopropyl alcohol will damage any natural then synthesized organics.jazzforce wrote:Honestly, I think alcohol is fine. I've been using 70% for decades in the recording studio on far more sensitive parts than metal sinks.
It's widely used to clean vinyl records too, which are way more fragile. None of mine have dried up yet.

pcie 2.0 will negate the use of pci-e connectors. 150 watts to the slot. cards will still have connectors on them but they will not be needed. a regular clocked 8800GTS does not consume more than 150 watts. I could use my 350 phantom silent and most excellent psu for yet another single fan on low system!merlin wrote:I really don't understand why so many people/review sites are recommending looking at the X38, it's just another overclocker chipset that is almost guaranteed to have higher power consumption with very little benefit. Aka the 680i and 975x, both chipsets I would never touch. Nobody currently needs PCIe 2.0 at all.continuum wrote:http://www.techreport.com/reviews/2007q ... dex.x?pg=1

Anandtech's got not one, but THREE articles on the P35 out now.
I think I'll be skipping P35 and waiting for X38 depending on the improvements and and power consumption.
pcie 2.0 on a non kiddie shit motherboard is what I will be waiting for.
