Does Cool n Quiet still work?

I just recently put together a new machine, x2 5600, Asus M3A78-EM, 2gb DDR2 800, BFG 9800GT, WinXP Home w/SP2. C'n'Q is enabled in the bios and AMD's driver is installed. For some reason I'm not seeing any kind of drops. I checked Asus's site to see if there was a bios update relating to fixes involving C'n'Q, but don't see anything regarding that.

CnQ still works, but with XP you have to set XP to send the command to the driver. Go to Control Panel>Performance and Maintenance (Only in Category View)>Power Management. Then in the "Power Schemes" drop-down, select "Minimal Power Management"

Hopefully that's the only issue.

Doh! I completely forgot about changing power schemes, that's what it is. Thank you sir, saved me a bit of frustration. :)
