Supermicro X7SPA-HF: interesting-looking NAS board

Post by matt_garman » Tue Jan 12, 2010 7:27 am

I just saw this SuperMicro X7SPA-HF mentioned on another forum. This is a MiniITX Atom D510 (Pineview) motherboard, with six SATA ports (Intel ICH9R), 2x Intel 82574L LAN ports, and a PCIe x4 slot.

This will probably be an ideal low-power NAS platform for many people. Unfortunately, it does not support ECC RAM, which is a personal requirement. Otherwise, it looks pretty slick.

I didn't look too hard, but I don't yet see it available on any retail sites.

There's also the Zotac NM10-DTX WiFi which has 6 sata ports.
