new system: AMD 3700X on MSI B450 Tomahawk

Upgrading from my 4770K. Originally I was thinking 3900X + Gigabyte x570 Master, but decided to go the lower-power (65W CPU) and fanless motherboard route. I couldn't convince myself that I really needed 12 cores or PCIe 4.0. The motherboard is pretty basic, but hopefully good enough. I'm on the box cooler for now - it's not bad, but I have a Noctua NH-D15S on order. An $80 HSF on a $100 motherboard...

I would have done the same, solid choice of parts, specially the motherboard should be able to be flashed without an older ryzen cpu.

Hope you share your thoughts once you get the NH-D15S, to me with dual fans is as good as it will get on air.
