Athlon X2 4000 System Build (Antec P150)

Post by ceraf » Tue Mar 18, 2008 5:13 am

- Athlon X2 4000+ 2.1 GHz (brisbane) + stock hsf
- Asus M2A-VM Socket AM2 motherboard
- 4GB DDR2-667 Ram: 2 OCZ, 2 Patriot 1GB sticks
- Sapphire Radeon X800 512MB DDR3 VIVO (has component out & svideo/composite in/out cables) + Thermalright HR-03 Passive Heatsink
- Antec P150 Case (comes with a 120mm Antec Tricool exaust fan and one set of new hard drive suspension straps. The rest are the 1st gen rubber ones)
- Antec NeoHE-430 or Earthwatts EA-430
- Nexus 92 silent intake fan
- Samsung SH-S203B SATA DVD RW Drive
- 500GB Western Digital SATA

Most of it has been purchased at NCIX; others at Canada Computers and DirectCanada. The system is only about 1-2 months old. I've experienced no problems so far. The only noise you can hear is the CPU fan, which is voltage controlled by the motherboard (and maybe the Tricool as well, if you listen closely enough). I've also hooked up the Nexus fan leads to the +5V and Ground leads of the molex connector. The Creative SoundBlaster card isn't included.

Looking for $500. Located in Waterloo, Ontario.
