Where to buy Thermalright LGA775 bolt-thru kit in UK?

Post by The Judge » Fri Mar 21, 2008 3:52 pm

Hi guys, as the title states basically. I'm looking for the Thermalright LGA775 bolt-thru kit to use on a Scythe Ninja because I've heard horrible things about the push-pins. Does anyone know where I can grab one in the UK? Scan is out of stock at the moment and has it on pre-order but the closest other place I can find it is in Germany!

Cheers in advance.

Any luck?

Hey Judge, did you have any luck? I'm after one too but can't find it anywhere. If not, what's the URL for the German store?

Cheers,
Bruce L

The pcsilent.de web site in Germany have this item in stock currently. It only costs about 8 euros, but shipping to the UK is around another 16 euros so this is a fairly pricey alternative source.

The url is

www.scan.co.uk have them in stock now... mine should be delivered tomorrow :)

I'm contemplating whether to lap my CPU and heatsink or not... I think maybe I will leave it alone, as whilst I've heard great story's of knocking off several degrees C, I'm rather worried I'd screw up my CPU

But hopefully the thermalright bolt thru kit should allow better pressure and contact, and also ensure its held on safely!
