Smart Drive 2002 Copper Silencing Enclosures [SOLD]

I have two of these excellent enclosures for sale. This is the copper version, which is an upgrade to the previous aluminum version as it conducts heat better. These drives barely raise the temperature of a hard drive, and are extremely effective in reducing noise.

The only reason I'm selling them is because I'm not bothered by hard drive noise as much as I used to be, and it's simply easier to not have enclosures.

I am the original owner and they have been inside my tower for a few years. These things are rock solid and don't wear out, so the functionality is obviously like new.

Nobody uses these enclosures anymore? I really doubt this technology has improved much over the past few years - just different brands/models at a higher price.

Or are hard drives so quiet now that nobody needs/wants them?
