Looking for WD 320GB drive dated jan 24 2008-ish

my 320GB single platter drive's logic board failed, so I need a PCB to replace it so I can recover my data. the drive is nearly identical to the #2 sample drive in the review of the drive on this site (dated jan 24 2008, WD3200AAKS-00B3A0, 11 spokes on the bottom)

the date doesn't have to be exact, but the firmware has to be similar for it to work

if you simply have one lying around that's great, I'll buy them off you, if you are using the drive but don't mind getting another drive in return I can send you a replacement drive for you to copy your info onto using drive imaging software, and if you need help with that I will help.

I've been looking through other channels for over a year now, no luck, including PCBsolutions.com. I really don't want to have to pay the ~$1000 for professional recovery

At my last two employers I had access to a ton of spare hard drives but I'm between jobs right now so I probably can't get one for you.

On monday I'll have a look around work and see if we have a drive similar to that, but I have no guarantees. Not many drives lying around in that date range.

Dang both of mine are Sept. 2009 models. What signifies different firmware--is it the portion after the model number (ie 00B3A0)?
