For reliability, stabilty, power, performance, efficiency, and not over $200.00 in price?
I've redone my set-up and it only come to like 289
But,I want some cushion as far as the power and stability.

I ordered a Seasonic M12 500, for $148 shipped. It's pricey, and overkill for my setup, which is probably about the same load as yours, but I intend to keep this PSU for as long as it lasts. The way I see it, components that you'll keep for many upgrade cycles are not worth skimping on.

You can't go wrong with the Seasonic S12 430W for about $90-100 or the S12 Energy+ 550W for $130.

Of course, there are other good brands out there.. the Corsair HX comes in 520 and 620W versions, for $120 and $170 respectively. They're modular and based on Seasonics. Other brands like Fortron Source, Enermax, Sparkle, PC Power & Cooling are quality brands too, but I don't think those get the SPCR approval.

Not true. Lost of Fortron Source products reviewed over the years, we've mostly liked them, they sometimes make it to the recommended list. The Zen, the Green Power and the most recent Zalman PSU -- all are FSP. Sparkle is just another name for the same products. Enermax products have also been reasonably well reviewed... PCPC -- haven't seen any samples in years.

If you're hoping for "German Quality", forget it. It's just their european headquarters that's German. Not too long ago these PSU's were called "Elan Vital" and came from the far east. This doesn't mean they are bad btw.
