Can someone recommend a quiet modular power supply for my htpc, I was looking at the corsair ones and wanted to know if the xconnect ones were any good..zalman is just overrated in my opinion.
enermax liberty and bequiet dark power come to mind, too. for the htpc you'll probably need the weakest one you can find. if you can duct antec neohe it'll be v quiet. mind that neohe get louder under load - but that's unlikely to happen in an htpc, right? corsairs are great, better than all these here, but *way* too strong for an htpc.
i'd say it's safe now as the old versions are no longer shipped. i was getting mine (with p150) in october 06 and it was made in april 06, case was from june 06. to be on the safer side order from a large shop with hi turnover so that there's no chance you get an old one.darklord2005 wrote:how do I make sure that I am getting revision 4 of the antec neohe? Is there anyway to check before buying it?
