antec ew 380 psu and fan swap

Post by bendit » Sun May 27, 2007 8:53 am

is this a psu that would improve if one could drop a low or med speed panaflo? my system is very low power so it is doubtful the controller would ramp the fan. In the review it was stated that the noise was a low hum. Was that fan related?

thanks

Yes, see this thread:

Avoid getting a surplus/reject panaflo from a pc store. Good suppliers are www.digikey.com or www.dorothybradbury.co.uk

The scythe nmb-mat fans are economy (value line) models.
