Motherboard power cable extension?

Post by williamn6133 » Tue Jan 22, 2008 6:36 pm

I want to run my power supply as an external.. but I need an extra inch on the length of my motherboard and PCI-E power cables.

Can you think of any such product I can buy?

Nevermind. Found one on ebay. Just search "PSU Extension Cable 24 Pin"

PCI-E extension - I will just use the one that came with my Hiper PSU!

I love Hiper! :) I wish I hadn't thrown away the fan grill though. :( It was so pretty and I need it now my PSU is external.

Since you're running it external, might I suggest:

I have no experience with that shop, just an example. Increased resistance, yes. Less dust is important too. Good luck.
