Antec EarthWatts 500W Powersupply heatsink buzz

Hi,

When I was poking aroung inside my Earthwatts 500W looking for the source of the buzzing noise. I found that it was coming from the heatsink, which is live with high frequency voltage. It sounding as if the heatsink was rapidly arcing. Unfortunately, I then fried my psu by shorting the heatsink to ground.

Hopefully, this helps anyone looking for another source of psu buzzing.

PS. I am now considering buying the Corsair HX520
