Hi,
I'm searching for a very quiet power supply. I'm looking for a power supply with a very high quality yet very silent and if possible modular (don't like the very cheap noisy ugly power supplies
). Already looked at the site but can't decide yet so maybe you know a great power supply
. I have a Cooler Master Stacker 810 case so the power supply is at the bottom of the case.
thanks in advance

saw the Reference / Recommended articles and the one about the power supplies and I saw this one: Corsair HX620. Don't know if there are better ones at the moment. Looks quite good because it's modular, is quiet and has enough power (620w). What do you think?

The 620HX is very good PSU, modular, cool and quiet and a massive warranty.

The HX620 is a good bet, although are you sure you need that much power?
What are you going to be running off it?

If you add 33% to the max load your system will take, a 400Watt PSU would be fine, realistically your PC wont use more than 300W~ You could save some serious cash by getting a lower Wattage PSU that is just as quiet.

The 520 would be fine.
My gaming rig is based on an Asus Striker Extreme with an over-clocked E6600, 2x72Gb Raptors, 2x8800GTs, 5x120mm fans, Auzentech Prelude, DVD drive and that all runs fine on a Corsair HX520
