Antec signature

Does anyone have references (noise related) about these new power supplies from antec?

I have a neopower 650W and it was rather quiet, but not enough for a hardcore silencer as I am, even with small loads. I made a fan swap, using a noctua 8cm fan and it became silent enough for me (not as silent as my phantom 500, but bearable ;)).

Are the signature series as quiet as the neopower (or neo he) series? Have they improved or made worse the acoustics?

Yes, AnandTech has some data on them.

edit: I'm afraid the NeoPower reference may not help you after all because AnandTech's records come from the "Blue" version, which is not the same as the one you have. It uses a different casing with a 120mm fan. Still, you can see that the Signature is comparatively very quiet.

Startup noise is the same, NeoPower 650 ramps up at 125W, Signature 650 at 350W and Signature 850 at 425W.

Thanks, the information has been useful, I've seen comparisons of the blue neopower and the standard one, so I have an idea.

Maybe the information that is missing is the comparison of startup noise. In anandtech they measure it as 17dB for all the power supplies in that comparison, maybe because it is the ambient noise and they can not obtain values lower than that. Because at least I know that the enermax is quieter at startup than any of those other power supplies.
