Thanks for the feedback and links!
The Corsair indeed doesn't seem silent enough, so I'm gonna skip that one
Those Seasonic Gold PSUs also seem very nice, but they are probably even more expensive then Silver ones and I'm not sure the 750W will remain enough in all upgrade scenarios (I know many here will disagree with that statement, but let's agree to disagree better safe than sorry I think...)

How about Zalman 770 XT:

I want more reviews, more like for the noise.. This unit has bigger heatsinks and better heatpipe than older zalmans.. Looks promising and have "alright" 80 + bronze ..
I want something new (I´m bored with enermax and corsair )
MikeC, Do you test this unit or any other like OCZ/Seasonic 80+ gold PSU's?
EDIT. Some pictures.

thanks for the tip!
that does seem like a nice PSU, especially if you have a low idle power consumption it is dead silent
but it seems like the price will be about the same as the seasonic M12d (both too expensive actually ), while it has a lower maximum watt
i think in my case, it will be about as loud as the seasonic at my average power consumption
so I'm still leaning towards the seasonic atm

I just found some internet prices
The real internet prices indeed are a lot lower than the Seasonic
unfortunatly that xsreviews review is crap
they test it with a system that doesn't even need a 400W PSU... no wonder it can come out good...
gonna look for a better review (especially concerning noise and stability at the higher wattages)
