Seagate 7200.7 Hot or not?

Post by DG » Wed Mar 17, 2004 1:30 pm

I'm planning to replace my noisy Maxtor d740x, and decided to buy a Seagate 40Gb 7200.7. But i dont know how are the temperatures with this drive...Is it hot to the touch, or just slighty warm?

Mine runs about 6C above intake/ambient temp. It is suspended right in the path of the front intake (no fan, case only has rear exhaust).
