tomshardware reviews 5400 Samsung Spinpoint

tomshardware apparently the 5400 samsung spintpoint is even more quiet and puts out even less heat than the sp80, which should not be surprising as it is rotating at a lower frequency.

does anyone know how much more quiet the 5400rpm is over the sp80?
tomshardware itself does not say.

Has anyone seen any evidence that they are queiter and by how much? Obviously 5400RPM should be quieter than 7200RPM but I want to see figures. And, obviously, Tomshardware can't be trusted with (many things, but amongst them) noise figures.
I would however take the word of SPCR regulars :)

I have 3 in my server, along with a Seagate U6 (also discontinued 5400rpm), and a 1614N. I can't hear any of them - certainly to my ears they have been the quietest drives I've had. Since getting the 7200rpm drive, they're all suspended and damped as wella s activly cooled - I hear the 5v 120mm fan but not the drives. I wish they still made them... :(

edit: I have ones from 18 months ago, 80GB, possibly a previous generation.
