Recommend a drive for SATA raid 0?

Post by IceFire » Mon Jun 14, 2004 1:21 pm

I am thinking about putting together a new system. I want a raid 0 in SATA. Can someone recommend a drive? I don't care if it is slower because of raid 0. Size doesn't matter (yes I said it! Size doen't matter).

So here is what I'm looking for:
- SATA
- Cool (thinking about enclosing)
- Quiet

I've got two Seagate SP1614Cs (that's right, right?) in my SATA RAID 0 array. Works perfectly, dead silent (on Sorbothane), and cool as a cucumber; I couldn't be happier.

Good luck,
Emmett Lyman
