Does any one here know if it includes the sata power adapter?

It's oem but the picture includes it -

NewEgg typically does include a SATA adapter.

well, i got it today - early I might add - and it has the cable.

it's a nidec too so from what I gather thats better then the pata jvc I rma'd -
