Samsung vs Seagate notebook drive

Hello all,

Had a quick question. I was thinking of buying a new hard drive to replace the one in my notebook.

I was thinking of the samsung vs this seagate:

I know they are both pretty quiet, so the determing factor for me would be long term durability. Any experiences with Seagate vs Samsung failing in the long run?

I don't know if this relates to your question, but I think the Samsung may not run as cool. I put one of the Samsungs in my laptop and the fan comes on a little more often than it used to. The drive that it replaced was a Hitachi.
