Worth replacing a SP2004C with a HD160HJ?

Post by madman2003 » Tue Mar 27, 2007 11:57 am

I have an opertunity to sell one my SP2004C at a loss of about 10-15 euros compared to the price of HD160HJ. I currently have 3 SP2004C's, one of which i will "degrade" to external backup (i need backup) and replace with a HD321KJ. My main OS drive (of which i only ~80 GB is partioned), is the other drive in question. I have my drives suspended, but it's not perfect (sometimes after some time, the drives get into a specific position and start interacting). I could redesign the suspension, or reduce vibrations. It's also my understanding that the data density of the HD160HJ should improve performance and reduce overall vibrations.

Is this worth doing?
