I'm thinking of building a very quiet HTPC down the road, but I'm not sure what to get for the system drive. Does anyone have experience with stuffing a 2.5" drive into an Antec NSK2480 or Fusion? The special mounting scheme looks like it'll make it difficult. I was thinking of throwing it into a drive silencer made for 3.5" bays like
this one. Would this work?

I have just mounted a 2,5" disk in a NSK2480B case.
Picture. Still in version 1, but I plan to change the wood with a Dremel'd Plexiglas bracket instead.

How about adhesive velcro? For a 2.5" drive it's plenty strong enough, and absorbs what little vibration there is.

I used the same drive silencer and it's silent compared to pretty much anything else I have (PS and the Nexus Fans). Although, I bought mine from
